Beautiful book illustrated throughout with delightful color plates and b/w drawings. First page lovingly smudged and with a small closed tear, otherwise pages good condition. Yellow endapapers illlustrated with detailed drawing of map (showing road to Montreal and Quebec and also the other way to the Gaspe from Val d'Espoir and mentioning farm names). Black cloth spine. Both boards illustrated in color with more wonderful drawings. Covers show light wear. Edges and corners worn and bumped. Spine worn at head/tail. VG. Hard Cover.
