Sobre este artículo

London: Longmans, Green and Co, 1903. reprint edition. Hardcover. Good. 12mo 7" - 7. G. Pearson, engraver, after drawings by Margery May. A perfectly serviceable reference copy; nothing fancy, but complete and sturdy, nice-looking, published London, 1903, by Longmans, Green and Co., by the author of Homes Without Hands, Strange Dwellings, Insects at Home and others. This exemplar of Petland Revisited is accompanied with numerous illustrations engraved by G. Pearson from drawings by Margery May. Bound in short octavo format, full calf leather. Gilt-ruled dentelles to both covers, fine gilt-embossed illustration to front cover from the Oswestry School, indicating that this exemplar is a school-leaver's prize for good studentry. Five scant raised bands to spine, gilt flourishes and fleurs-de-lis, too, title blind-stamped to label. Rubbings to joints, edges, but still sturdy and stands alone easily. Marbled endpapers, bookplate inside front flap denoting that the prize was given by J.J. Lloyd Williams, Head Master of the Oswestry School. Bottom fore-tip of first free endpaper has detached because stuck to inside front flap, recto. Some faint, scattered foxing here and there. All page edges gilt. xvi [1], 2-310 pp. plus publisher's ads. All in, an attractive copy.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
