Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Visible marking to some pages throughout, but text is not affected. Binding is slightly shaky, due to cracked front hinge, but all pages remain attached. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright. Light rubbing and scuffing overall, with visible marking to board edges.
