New York: S. Converse, 1830. Book. Good. Hardcover. 2nd Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. "By the Authority of 'The General Convention for the Formation of the American Pharmacopoeia' held in 1830". "Second Edition: From the first edition, published in 1820, with additions and corrections." Contemporary full calf. 176 pp. including index. With an apparently contemporary Rx recipe for Eau de Cologne, and one "For a Cough" laid in. Considerable wear to the extremities. The boards are scuffed, with a few small stains. The leather is cracked, with a small piece missing, near the spine head. There are notes (more recipes) written on the front and rear endpapers. The hinges are narrowly cracked but the binding is tight. There are spots of foxing throughout..
