Sobre este artículo
New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1923. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. This is the first American edition (the true first published by Woolf at the Hogarth Press) and is a 'sketch book of Alexandria through the ages'. Forster laments the fact that there was no serious history of the city at that time and hoped this might fill something of the huge hole...included are poems by C. P. Cavafy. Top stain in midnight blue with coloured end papers. Mottled discolouration on front with some sunning on back cover. First American edition.
