Sobre este artículo

Harper & Brothers, 1961. unknown_binding. De Chardin, Pierre Teilhard : The Phenomenon of Man. New York : Harper & Row, 1970. 15th printing of the 1965 second Harper Torchbook edition. Translated byt Bernard Wall; intro by Sir Julian Huxley. Small octavo (8vo), 8"/20.1cm h x 5.5". Bound in publisher's matte color wrappers. 320 numbered pp plus 16 pp Torchbooks material to end, as of 1970. Condition notes: an ex-library copy with typical stamps and markings. Rather heavy sunning and staining to the heavy, durable wrappers; extensive pencil notes to rear endpapers, else unmarked. A solid reading copy of the remarkable work by the Jesuit and paleontologist de Chardin. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Sobre Furrowed Brow Books

Furrowed Brow Books offers an eclectic selection mostly in the humanities, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Tolkien and Inklings emphasis), and military history (esp American Civil War).

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in a magical, historic farmhouse in piedmont Maryland stuffed with books. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
