A 1965 facsimile reprint of a set originally published in 1745. Maroon cloth bindings. Title pages of Volumes I-1 and II-1 each have a single illustration. Dual columns. Irregular pagination. Volume I-1 has light sunning on the spine, as well as slight foxing to first and last few pages. A few volumes' covers have some light stains. Text bodies are free from underlining, highlighting, or notes. Full refund if not satisfied. "Philip (Bologna, December 1685 - Milan, 25 January 1755) was prefect of the Ambrosiana Library and in 1721 he founded together with some Milanese nobles the Palatine Society of which he assumed the typographical direction. He edited the publication of numerous works, among the most famous are the Rerum Italicarum Scriptores by Ludovico Antonio Muratori and the 4 volumes of the Bibliotheca scriptorum mediolanensium dedicated to Maria Theresa of Austria.
