Archival photographs of Hawai'i from 1879 to 1910. The photographer was a Danish businessman who moved to Hawai'i in 1878 and began taking photographs. The negatives and plates were discovered in the possession of his grandson and cleaned and printed by the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. The book is in near fine condition. There is a barely perceptible water stain on the upper right front. There is no jacket, as issued. The corners are square, and the pages are clean and unmarked.
