Price of $4.00 on the front flap of the jacket. Volume nineteen in Harper's World Perspectives series edited by Ruth Nanda Anshen. Heisenberg was one of the principal figures in the development of quantum mechanics and was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics in 1932 for his contributions. In this book, Heisenberg considers some of the philosophical implications of the revolutionary developments in twentieth-century physics (both relativity and quantum mechanics). Jacket with traces of edge wear including a small chip to the spine panel and to the rear fold.
