Clean covers and spine with some scuffing remain in good condition; leather remains supple; slight rubbing wear at fore corners; spine gilt largely chipped off; tightly bound; small owner stamp on title page; clean interior with occasional age darkening and few pages with darker stain - not obscuring text or affecting engravings.
