Near Fine. 12mo in printed and illustated paper covered boards over black cloth spine; handsome engraving of the Ditson headquarters at 277 Washington Street in Boston on rear cover. "New and Improved Edition" on front cover and "Tenth American from the last London Edition",no date but circa 1855 (first was 1854). 101 pp. Illustrated with musical examples. A tight, bright example and quite unusal thus, couple light droplet marks front board, tasteful vintage bookplate front pastedown.
