[TEXT IN ITALIAN] This is the outstanding "Pianoforte" volume (Volume I, dedicated to Alfred Cortot), from the Collezione Musicale "Melos" - a series of musical manuals directed by Guido M. Gatti and Paola Ojetti. CONDITION: A worn but *unmarked* copy with considerable shelf-wear, its page-block reattached to the covers with archival tape. The pages are noticeably age-tanned in the margins and are brittle along the edges (some small corner pieces absent). This fragile item must be handled carefully to avoid further deterioration. To that end, I have fashioned a new replacement dustjacket, affixing the original incomplete jacket panels and enclosing it all in a clear mylar protective cover.
