Illustrated in color and black & white by Kurt Wiese (1887-1974) who wrote and illustrated 20 children's books and illustrated another 300 for other authors including "The Story About Ping" and "Freddy the Pig" series. The book is in very good condition slight shelf wear. Interior is clean and tight. The dust jacket is in good condition with some rubbing to edges small 1/2" tear to top of front panel. Tan spine/no text. #031887. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Illus. by Kurt Wiese. Oblong 16mo. Juvenile Literature.
