Rebound in three-quarter black cloth over marbled boards with gilt, double framed lettering on leather label of cover, gilt ruling on covers, gilt lettering and ruling on spine; raised bands. Marbled edges and endpapers. Additional twenty engravings bound in, two of them loose and two in-text engravings. The additional plates present facing pages 6, 10, 78, 82, 83 (laid in), 86, 100, 112, 114, 116, 118 (2, one laid in), 157, 158 160, 164, 168, 192, 212, 232.. A tour through Holland, Brabant, etc. of picturesque views of the rivers Thames, Medway, Avon, and Wye, and of graphic illustrations of Hogarth, etc. Contains Errata page at rear. Three quarter inch closed tear at top joint at spine, half and inch at bottom. Some light scuffing along hinges. Five line printed description of book pasted to front endpaper, glued only at left edge. Lightly starting at inside front cover. Interior in very good condition.
