Photograph of World War II Free French Fighter Ace Pierre Henri Clostermann, in his aircraft, a Hawker Tempest Mk V. Signed on photo. The photograph shows 32 air victory decals, which would mean it was taken shortly before his retirement; he is credited with 33 confirmed victories (including ground attack kills) and 8 probable victories. Clostermannn served with several RAF squadrons. In later life, he became an author, engineer, politician, and sporting fisherman.
