Sobre este artículo
New York: McClure, Phillips & Co, 1906. Hardcover. Illustrations by Will Crawford. 16mo. Tan cloth with black lettering and black/ivory pictorial stamping. 37pp. Tissue-guarded frontispiece, 4 full-page plates. Very good. A tight and nice early (4th) printing of what is by far the best-known story from this prolific American author (1869-1937) who despite a healthy output is remembered mainly for this short story first published in a magazine in 1905.
