This is number 134. NOT ex-library. Hardcover has green marbled paper-covered boards with forest green leather-covered spine and gold spine lettering. Deckle fore edges. Black and white illustrations by Katherine Wilson. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. One inch section of top surface of the leather covering at the head of the spine is peeled off. Edges rubbed. Imprinted bookplate on front endpaper. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. 176 pages. No dust jacket. No slipcase. "Author's Accounting" letter laid in at rear; dated Oct 1, 1952, describes subscription rate calculation for edition. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
