The Pilgrim's Progress is a Christian allegory that is regarded as one of the most significant works of theological fiction in English Literature, written by John Bunyan who was an English writer and Puritan preacher. This is a Macmillan reprint. With a previous owner dedication to the front of the volume that states To my dear friend Gesie, from Sidney, March 17, 1987. "This is love, that we walk after his commandments." (2 John v. 6) In a full calf prize binding for Lancaster School. Externally, very smart with some very light marks to the boards. Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
