Nicely illustrated antique copy of "THE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS" by John Bunyan. 1846; Harper & Brothers; New York. Also included is "A Life of John Bunyan" by Robert Southey. This edition features 50 woodcuts by "Adams." Illustrated title page with frontispiece. The spine is nicely decorated with gilt lettering and illustrations.
Condition:
Clean covers; the cloth and the gilt on the spine have faded just a bit. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Consistent mild foxing to the pages throughout the book. There is an old name written in pen on the front end paper. Overall the book is in Very Good- condition.
