It is a Christian allegory presented as a dream sequence, centering on the protagonist's journey from his hometown, "City of Destruction" to the "Celestial City". With a memoir of John Bunyan to the front of the work. In the publisher's original decorative cloth binding. Externally, excellent with rubbing and bumping to the extremities, heaviest to the head and tail of spine and corners. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. Scattered spotting to the first and last few leaves and fore edge. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
