Previous owner name on the front endpaper. Included with the book is an exchange of letters from the owner to Sarton. The owner writes a 3 page typed letter in admiration of the book and Sarton replies briefly, dated Feb 29, 1968 in appreciation and signs in full. Stated first edition with the full number string on the copyright page. Protected in mylar. The book itself is not signed only the letter. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
