Some spotting, map a little creased, o/w. contents fine. Original cloth lightly marked and gently sunned, o/w. nr. fine. Frank Kingdon Ward was one of the most famous British plant collectors to have worked in south-west China and the Himalayas. Though primarily a collector of seeds and plants for introduction to cultivation in European gardens, he also gathered dried specimens which were distributed among several herbaria.
