Extremely rare. John Murray, London, 1820. First edition. Large folio, 1 page of text, 44 plates on 34 leaves. Modern full half-leather, as new. Title page is chipped without loss of text. Colour plates are free of foxing, while the few b/w plates have very light oxydation. Some tiny, repaired tears without loss of paper on a few plates. Some ancient tape repair on the margin of 3 plates, not affecting the drawings. Plate 22 has a 1 x 2 cm loss of paper not affecting the drawing. Altogether a very good copy. Language: English.
