First edition hardcover with dust jacket, published by Houghton Mifflin 1994. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. There is a light crease mark to the bottom corner of the front flap of the jackets, a diagonal crease at the bottom corner about 1 inch across, it's not very noticeable. This copy is not a remainder, not a library discard. The text is clean, the binding is tight and square. This book includes three short novellas, 'Mahatma Joe', 'Field Events', and 'Platte River', set in Nebraska and Montana. There are no marks to the edges of the text block, the boards are clean as well. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not a stock photo.
