There are a number of tiny brown dots to the 2 outer pages [the title & last text page]. There is some soiling to the bottom margin of the last page with minor soiling to the title page. The page edges are slightly darkened & their corners slightly bumped throughout & 2 bottom corners are creased. Good.

Laid in is a letter signed by George Macy, Director of the Limited Editions Club, to a member of the club, Jefferson F. Meagher, informing him of a special member discount for the thirty-seven volume set.
Among the contents of the prospectus are "What we Know about Shakespeare"; "What the World has Said about Shakespeare" --quotes from such authors as Milton, Hazlitt, Walt Whitman, Pope, Sir Walter Scott, Coleridge and others; a list of the volumes; and commentary from Herbert Farjeon and Bruce Rogers.
