Remains of title label at head of spine. Decorated, heavy vellum boards; worn and somewhat marked, but titling and images still quite legible/visible. Remains of clasp on upper and lower front edges of boards. pp occasionally spotted and stained, but are very supple, and in remarkable condition for a 400-year-old book. Dual Greek/Latin text. The secondary title page states: Plutarchi Chæronensis omnium, quæ extant, operum Tomus Primus continens vitas parallelas Graecè & Latinè. ; 4to (10" x 16"); 1052+114+Index pages .
