New York: Scribner's, 1914. Leather Bound. Very Good. ALL LEATHER. Scuffed and worn covers. Cracked spine. Top spinecap torn. A 2.25" length of front cover at spine, unattached. Lightly age-tanned. Gilt lettering and design to spine and front of maroon, leather cover. Red ribbon book mark attached. Clean. 217 pp with advertisemtents to rear of book. "This little book has been compiled for the use of those who love Stevenson and call him Master. It conceals no elaborate attempt to condense his writings within a single volume ; but to those that know his books, and like them, it may perhaps be found a pleasant companion on a summer's day ; recalling, by a favourite passage here and there, the unseen pages on the book-shelf at home," (Note).
