From Pocowood to a Chosen Land: A Collection Honoring Donald Ray Richardson on His Sixtieth Birthday

Light wear to the binding; there are some dark stains on the rear cover that almost look like a few shadows. A sound copy and clean within. Illustrated with some photos and a few drawings. Preface is in Korean; the rest of the text is in English. Richardson was and educator and a lay speaker for the United Methodist Church who taught for a time in the Republic of Korea (South Korea). He taught English at Han Nam University in Taejon, Korea from 1984 until at least the publication of this book in 1993. The book was published as an appreciation from his students in Korea. The photos are of Donald Richardson's younger days in North Carolina. No photos of his time in Korea. Born in 1933, Richardson had graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro in 1957, from George Peabody College in 1961, and from the UNC School of Library Science in Chapel Hill in 1967.
