Self Published. 4to. 80 pages. No date, c.1920. IN SUMPTUOUS FULL DARK brown calfskin leather binding with gilt titles on spine. Five raised leather bands on spine. Intense gilt topstain and inner ornate leather and gilt dentelles. Uncut page edges.Original printed wraps preserved. Grey endpapers. Lush. Rubbing at hinges and corners. Possibly printed in France although Baron Emile Beaumont D'Erlanger was a London based French banker / financier who was involved with the Channel Tunnel Company, Rhodesian Railways etc., Some notes and correction as to contents, possibly in author's hand. Poems - one 'apr s Rupert Brooke' in French but titled 'Tenderly Day that I have Loved.' Binding is by Truslove and Hanson and features elaborate gilt inner dentelles. Probably produced in, at most, a handful of copies only. Not in any library; however his book on British WW1 poets 'Mon Humble Plaisir (1928) is represented in US and UK libraries. None have come up for auction. Extremely Scarce. . Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1917.
