Faber, London, 1957. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 136pp. Purple cloth lettered and bordered in white at the spine. Top edge lightly spotted, and with some uneven browning to the free endpapers. A very good copy in good non-price-clipped dust wrapper, toned at the spine panel and edges, a little chipped with several tiny fractions of edge-loss, and a little internally reinforced tenderness to the natural spine panel-rear panel fold. The author's first book to the published in the UK: eighty-eight poems selected by Wilbur from his first four full-length collections (the author made three minor revisions to the text). Quite uncommon..
