Printed for the Author, and sold by William Creech, Edinburgh., 1787. Second edition, preceded only by the rare Kilmarnock edition of the previous year. Octavo. pp xlviii, 368. Period binding of quarter brown cloth gilt, marbled boards. First issue with the misprints ''Boxburgh'' on page xvii and ''skinking'' on page 263, and the Addenda to the list of subscribers.Small paper flaw to margin of page 188, not affecting the text. Some light marginal staining in a few places. Some rubbing to covers. Spine faded. Very good.
