Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 450pp. Green cloth over bevelled boards, gilt and black title and decoration to cover and spine, all edges gilt. Frontispiece engraving of author with facsimile inscription and signature and many other illustrationsall with tissue guards. Covers are worn . Spine is chipped at head and tail and has a half inch flap of cloth 2 inches from head. Hinges are split, some signatures are loose. Owner's name in pencil on front endpaper Contents are age-toned but otherwise quite clean, tiny smudge on frontispiece.
