1884 Edition. Boards are red with gilt lettering and designs on the spine and front cover. No DJ. Boards are in very good condition, with the exception of the ends, which are bumped. Bottom front end shows some damage. (see photo.) Otherwise, not much wear. Pages are gilt tipped. There is a short inscription on the first end page dated April 1884. Name of previous owner written on the Title Page, which has separated from the book. Pages are clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. Spine is tight. Nonsmoking. Ships in a clean box with tracking confirmation.
