This is an absolutely wonderful pocketbook sized book of Meredith's poetry with its great rhyming verses and deep emotions. Its exterior has worn areas on all four corners and around and at the top and bottom of the spine as well as along the left and right vertical sides of the spine, however, the guilt gold lettering and design on the spine is fully there as is the gold edging to the closed book's top, side and bottom page edges. The interior book has some light lettering of long ago former owners on the first two pages inside the front cover but then no other visible extraneous markings detract from the verses.
