BOSTON: James R. Osgood & Co., 1872. First Edition 2nd Printing. Decorative Cloth. Near Fine. First Edition/2nd State 1872. Same as first state except color (green instead of maroon) and one change in lettering to page 9 in chapter title--misspelled the word "table". In just about fine condition except slight darkening to the cloth spine. Green cloth with gilt decorations to spine and front board--winged urn. Tissue guard is still intact and protecting the title page and marvelous illustrated frontispiece--no spine give--no interior markings--a nice collectible copy.
