Some foxing to the tissue over the frontice & the first few pages. All hinges are tight. Owner's name neatly at the top of the title page. ; Inscribed by Holmes on the fep. This is the second state of the first edition, with the correct spelling of "table" at the head of page 9. ; 5 1/2x8; 418 pages .
