Sobre este artículo
London: Darton and Clark., [c.1850].. First edition. 16mo. (10.7 x 7cm). Contemporary full dark-green morocco with elaborate decoration in gilt and blind to the boards and spine; the spine with titles in gilt. All edges gilt. Additional illustrated chromolithographic title page in gilt, green, blue, red and brown. pp. xv, 176. A good copy, the binding firm with a little cracking to the front hinge and wear to the spine ends and corners of the boards. The contents lacking the blank front free endpaper and with a vertical crease to pp.45-6 and some light scattered foxing and toning are otherwise in good order. A charming mid nineteenth-century pocket-book of love poetry published by Darton with an attractive chromolithographic title page printed in colours and gilt. The work includes poems by Shakespeare, Byron, Wordsworth, and Coleridge, amongst others.
An uncommon title, LibraryHub records only two institutional copies (BL & Cambridge).
