Three volumes in unsigned contemporary polished calf, ornate gilt backs with black and brown morocco labels, end papers and edges gilt, the ticket of 1850's San Francisco bookseller Marvin & Hitchcock at front end pages, likely their binding. Very Good, the boards soiled, small rubs at corners, moderate toning at end papers with some light toning scattered throughout. 6 1/2" tall, a set quite pleasing to hold. . Aldine Edition. Polished Calf. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
