Blue-green leather and marbled paper boards matched with identical marbled endpapers. Gilt rules on covers and gilt titles and decorations on spines. T.e.g. Printed at the University Press in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Frontispiece photograph of Dante Gabriel Rossetti in Volume I. This item is a collection of the complete poems as prepared by the poet's brother William M. Rossetti, who has also written the preface and notes. Volume I xxx, 293 pp. Volume II xiv, 336 pp. Both volumes rubbed with loss at corner tips.Previous owner's bookplate in both volumes. Overall the gilt remains bright and both volumes are tightly bound. Volume one has some wear to the gilt top edge of text block. Quite an attractive set.
