Black and white frontispiece of blackbirds. Various poems - poems of Love, Doom, Love and Childhood, Poems Written on the Deaths of Three Children, Songs of Seven, A Wedding Song, etc. Binding is good excepting for a few pages in the front which are very slightly loose. The author, Jean Ingelow (1820 -1897) , was a British poet and novelist .
