Five raised bands along spine with gilt title on title-plate, gilt decorations in compartments, and around the edges of the front and back boards. Marbled closed page edges and end papers. Hinge and text block firm, previous owner paste-down inside the front, and hand written gift inscription to the first free end paper. Pages smooth, clean, unmarked. A lovely copy.
