One black and white illustrative plate next to title page. An Aldine Edition. Binding remains firm. Couple of cracked gutters. Pages and plate are moderately tanned and foxing throughout. Title page heavily tanned due to leaking of protective cover page to plate. Heavier foxing to text block edges and first & last few pages. Pencil inscription to front pastedown. Back pastedown has small surface damage to bottom edge.Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends and bumping to bottom corners. Tanning to spine causing heavy discolouration. Gilt lettering is heavily darkened.
