Bound in full black leather, bevelled boards, both boards are blind tooled with central oval frames, inside the frame of the front board is a shiny, cream, inlaid panel showing a vase of flowers and the title. Spinehas mock blind tooled bands with an embossed emblem in each spine panel, brown/grey endpapers. Frontis, steel engraved plate showing an angel in the Garden of Eden, vignette on title page shows Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden,6 other engraved plates, gilded page edges, 491pp. Corners slightly frayed.
