Front endpaper missing; publication details unknown. Includes illustrations throughout. All text block edges gilt. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and reverse of one plate. Publisher's stamp to front endpaper. A few dog-eared corners. Text block edges are uneven. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have heavy edge wear, with bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Slight splits to joints. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is dulled and worn. Water stains to front.
