Hnadsome contemporary Black Full Leather Binding. 4 Raised bands to spine, Gilt Title in 2nd compartment and "Illuistrated" at the bottom. Blind stamped decoration to front & rear. Edges beveled. Inner borders of cover have beautiful Bright Gilt Grecian Border. Red marbled endpapers. All Page Edges Gilt. Frontispiece has an engraved portrait of Londfellow with facsimilie signature beneath, protected by tissue guard. Illustrated with some Full Page Plates engraved by Dalziel. All text pages and title page have a red Linear Border. 632 Pages, 610g, 7 1/8" Tall. Some edge wear and a little rubbing to leather. Some small spots of light foxing to frontispiece but only a very occasional spot elsewhere. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
