Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Bound without the half-titles. Volume one illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of Lord Byron. Lowndes 338. Volumes one through three printed in 1855, volumes four through six with the date 1856 on the title page. A beautiful set of Byron's canon, and a premier collection of English romantic poetry. Minor wear to the extremities; a contemporary name on the first blank leaf of each volume, volume five shows a tiny tear to one leaf's fore-edge.
