VG copy, binding square and tight, cloth covers clean and bright, gilt bright, covers gently worn with a couple of minor marks, internally excellent, tissue-guard at frontis, no dust jacket. Pencil name on ffep of English Establishment artist Sir Lawrence Gowing (1918-1991), from whose library this was aquired . Very Good. Hardcover. 1890.
