London: Frederick Warne Book. Very Good. Hardcover. A New Edition. 8vo. No Date C. 1890. With contents pages and Life of Reginald Heber, pp. xii, 433. Part of the Lansdowne Poets Series. Engraved portrait frontispiece with tissue guard, further b/w plates and in-text illustrations throughout, printed and engraved by Dalziel Brothers. Text in a red lined border. Original highly attractive blue cloth binding decorated with flora motifs of cyclamen in black and gilt, bevelled edges to boards. Binding very good with a little general wear and slight rubbing to extremities, cloth very slightly nicked to head/tail of the spine. All edges gilt. Contents clean and tight, early inscription, dated 1890, a little foxing, mostly to preliminary pages and tissue guard. A very good tight copy of this fine (and comparatively rare) edition..
