Sobre este artículo
Edinburgh: Robert Cadell, 1847. Leather. Good. 10" by 7". None. The complete poetical works of Sir Walter Scott. With an engraved frontispiece and folding plate. Complete in one volume. Containing an introduction and notes by Scott. Sir Walter Scott was an extremely popular Scottish historical novelist during the nineteenth century. Many of his works remain literary classics, particularly those from his Waverley series. In a half calf binding with paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart. Light rubbing to the extremities and to the joints. Further areas of light rubbing to the spine which has suffered loss at the head and tail. Front joint and hinge are tender and may detach with further handling. Rear hinge and joint are also tender and may weaken with further handling. Patches of rubbing to the paper covered boards. Evidence of bookplate removal to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned to edges. Spotting and handling marks to the endpapers. The odd spots throughout. Good
