Hardcover is bound in full brown leather with gilt title on black spine panel. Spine has four slightly raised bands with gilt ruled decorations. Brown, red, blue and cream marbled endpapers. All page edges marbled. All cover edges have gilt hatching. Frontispiece engraved portrait of Moore has tissue guard. NOT ex-library. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some boards exposed at some corners. Peeling at some edges. Light to moderate foxing of pages, more so at first and last few pages, but foxing present to some extent on all pages. Initials in pencil on second blank flyleaf. Four pages are dog eared. NO highlighting or other markings. Two opposing pages have a small tanned area where a piece of newsprint was used as a bookmark. Pages are otherwise not tanned. 419 pages. Spine title: Moore's Works. No dust jacket, as issued. Stereotyped by L. Johnson. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
